Maureen Lilly

In 2011, Maureen became CCCA's Executive Director and oversees all aspects of the organization, mission, and staff. Prior to becoming a full-time staff member, Maureen has served as a member of CCCA’s Board of Directors since 2000, in the role of Treasurer. Maureen has also worked for the National Hospice Foundation and RAND. She has an extensive background in management, including experience as the Executive Director of a technology association and supervising a national presidential campaign. Maureen is intimately familiar with childhood cancer, having lost her daughter Becca to a brain tumor in 1997.
Kristen Mizzi

Kristen is responsible for developing and implementing CCCA’s federal health policy agenda, as well as fostering CCCA’s relationships with Congress, federal agencies, coalition partners, and grassroots advocates to expand and promote CCCA’s advocacy efforts. Kristen previously advocated for children’s health care on behalf of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Department of Federal Affairs, and has experience working on both sides of Capitol Hill, for former Rep. Bart Stupak and Sen. Debbie Stabenow. Kristen is a native of Michigan, as well as a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in Political Science and International Peace Studies.
Sarah Janesko

Sarah supports the Executive Director by attending to the financial and administrative tasks of the organization. Since she joined the staff in November 2010, she has assisted with fundraising events, grant applications, and CCCA's record keeping. She graduated from Towson University with a BS in Anthropology & Sociology. She has experience with office administration and was the President of the Anthropological Society of Towson University.
Jess KeanProgram Associate

Jess provides program support and manages online communications, including the monthly e-newsletter The Next Step and the CCCA website. Jess joined CCCA in August 2007 after graduating from American University with a double major in Political Science and Communications. Jess has held internships with a Senate office on Capitol Hill, a publishing company in London, England, and the advocacy department of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. Jess now works part-time from her home office in Iowa.
