In this role, Lori managed both the Washington and Ohio offices, and served as the principal advisor on legislative, communications, and political strategy. She aided the Congresswoman in the development and passage of numerous bills to enhance research and improve treatments for children with cancer, including the Caroline Pryce Walker Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of 2008. Lori earned her B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in Business Administration from UCLA.<b><br></b></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><a href="mailto:rgurvich@childrenscause.org"><strong>Rebecca Gurvich</strong></a><br><em>Development Manager</em><br><a href="mailto:rgurvich@childrenscause.org">rgurvich@childrenscause.org</a><br>301-562-2777</p><p>As Development Manager for CCCA, Rebecca's responsibilities include the planning of <a href="http://www.childrenscause.org/node/139">special events</a> and fundraising initiatives. She joined CCCA in October of 2008 and prior to that planned events for the Corporate Executive Board, a global consulting firm for Fortune 500 companies. Rebecca received her B.A. in History and Religious Studies from the University of South Florida.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><a href="mailto:jreamy@childrenscause.org"><strong>Jess Reamy</strong></a><br><em>Program Associate</em><br><a href="mailto:jreamy@childrenscause.org">jreamy@childrenscause.org</a></p><p>Jess works closely with CCCA's adolescent and young adult survivors through educational programs like <a href="http://www.childrenscause.org/programs/rta">Rise To Action</a>. Jess also manages CCCA's online communications, including <a href="http://www.causes.com/causes/21508">Facebook </a>and <a href="http://twitter.com/childrenscause">Twitter</a>.&nbsp;Jess joined CCCA in August 2007, after graduating from American University with a double major in Political Science and Communications. Jess has held internships with a Senate office on Capitol Hill, a publishing company in London, England, and the advocacy department of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.</p>    ]]></content>
